JDRF Walk For a Cure - Walking for Madi!

Last Saturday our family had a great time driving down to Tempe to participate in the JDRF Walk For a Cure with Madi Price and her family.  It was incredible being a part of such a huge event.  We felt great being a part of such a good cause.

Here's team Craig and Madi!  Everyone was having a blast getting ready to start our 5K.  Russ and Anna joined us and were there to cheer for us at the end.  It was great having them there.

There we are, in the wagon section.  Emma sat in the wagon and got a comfy ride!

Isn't she cute?  She had a great time riding and talking to the people around us.  She also saw lots of doggies  that were walking too, and she loved it!

Lots and lots and lots of people.  It was a gorgeous day, and it was a beautiful path for a 5K.

It was a wonderful experience for all of us to be a part of this walk, to see so many people joined together for the benefit of those they love, and for Emma to feel like she was able to help her BFF Madi Price firnd a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. 

Thank you so much for all of your words of support and your generosity helping Emma reach her goal.  This is something I know she'll never forget.
