Vanessa's Annual Celebration

I think, and I'm sure a lot of you will concur, that after one turns 30 there is no need to keep track of numbers anymore.  But what about the celebration?  We must still have that!  I think my birthdays, for me, means more of a celebration of making it another year, than how long I've been around.  I love to think about the past year and have my own "resolutions".  I don't do New Year's resolutions, but I do think more about things on my birthday / celebration day.  This year I wanted to keep it low key, nothing much.  Just fun with people I love.  Here are some pictures:
My little brother Douglas and I having fun on the trampoline.  I hadn't done this in years!  So fun.
Of course my girls were part of the action.  They loved it.  Emma called it "jump jump". She didn't want to leave!
Pushing Mommy down!  Two against one, no fair!  ( I love it)
My only birthday wish: "Torta de Bolacha".  Yum, my favorite.

I'm so grateful for all the friends and family who have helped make this year's celebration another memorable day for me.  Thanks for all the good wishes, cards, gifts, and hugs.  I'm so lucky.
