Anna the Ballerina!

And so it begins! All the cute, fun things about having little girls! Anna's first day of ballet. This is her class at Kaleidoscope Dance Studio, and her teacher, for now, is Ms. Liz. Ms. Liz is going to have a baby soon, but you wouldn't think so from seeing her move around! Anna loves her ballerina outfit!
Ops, just a little accident. She had just told me, "Don't worry Mommy, I'm okay!"
There she is. Sweet little ballerina! She had a blast!
Everyone learning to walk on their tippy toes like a princess!
And the princess walk again! Anna was concentrating so hard on getting just the toes down, it was very cute to watch her.
Anna's turn to shine with Ms. Liz, as she got to do the princess walk all by herself! Good job!
A little fun with wands. After all, they are 4!
Skipping, tip toeing, back and forth! She kept saying "I'm so excited, I'm so excited!"
Everyone paying attention. Very focused...
But not for long... hahahaha! Anna, I love you! This is so much fun, I think I'm enjoying it just as much as she is!

Lost in Translation

Yesteday mornning, Mommy, Anna and Emma were running around getting ready for church, as Daddy stayed in bed. Eventually we all decided he had to get up, so Mommy says to Anna:
"Anna, will you go in my room and tell Daddy that Mommy is gonna crack the whip?"
Anna runs into my room and says to Russ:
"Daddy, Mommy says she's going to crap the lip!"

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Midvale City Parade

This last Saturday we went to Midvale City's Harvest Days Parade. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, it was great fun for Anna and even Emma after she got a lolipop to hold on to. Luckily there was a photographer from the city that took these two pictures and posted them on the Midvale City website, so I took them from there.
Fun times for the Sperry girls. Aren't Anna and I so "Hollywood" in our sunglasses? Me sporting a stylish "Target" style, and Anna wearing the very exclusive "Dora the Explorer" look. We're cool, let me tell ya!
In other news... This morning Anna and I were saying our prayers together, and I was very touched by her cute prayer:
"Heavenly Father, thank you for this day, please tell Jesus Good Morning, bless that Anna can get lots of hugs today, please bless that Anna can get lots of kisses today, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen."
Awwww. Cute.

Just for fun...

Does this picture remind you of someone??? Think... think hard...

Maybe this shot will help...

Ta da!!! Is it just me? HAHAHAHA! Cute Emma and a funny hairdo. :)

First day of school!

This shot is so funny to me! It looks like she's thinking, "Oh great, school again..."! Actually she was very excited about going back to preschool and seeing all her cute friends and Ms. Janene!

Here she is, ready for her big day! She's going to preschool three times a week now, for 2 and 1/2 hours. She brought home some homework and everything, and when I picked her up her teacher told me she was wonderful in class and was the "best colorer" of the day! Anna was very proud of herself, and so am I, of course!

Gotta love this cute princess of mine. She's a wonderful little girl to watch as she learns and grows and progresses. Here's hoping for a wonderful school year for her!

We're just that cute!

Aren't we just adorable? Here it is, a cute Sperry Family picture. We got together with my side of the family today, (the Dutra side) and updated our family pictures, since the last ones we had did not include Emma. We got this shot of ourselves and I have to say it's just a great picture. Everyone smiled, especially the kids, even though Emma had a bad cold and had not slept well the night before. Just cute as can be! I have to say Kiddie Kandids did a terrific job! :)
Sweet Anna and Chunkylicious Emma! Aren't they just the perfect picture of sisterhood in this? Holding hands and smiling... (if you don't want to read more gushy stuff about how cute we all are than just skip the reading and go straight to the pictures, because I intend to gush... a lot. ) I just have the most beautiful baby girls in the world! Look at them! :) Dutra Power! Aren't we a handsome bunch! And I have to say green is very becoming on all of us. It's also my mom's favorite color, as well as mine. I think 2/3 of my wardrobe is green. Great smiles on everyone! Not only were the pictures great, but we had a very fun time all together today. It's because of days like these that we moved back to Utah from Michigan, and I'm so grateful we've had that opportunity. I love my fun, loving, crazy, loud, awesome family!

Vovo Dura, Vovo Nisi and their little grandkids. What a sweet shot this was! Aren't they cute? I have a feeling this picture is making its way to Vovo Dutra's desk at work first thing Monday morning. Let's just say it. My mom and dad are a good looking couple. Gush, gush, gush. They are both so photogenic! And to think it all began with these two. No wonder we are all so good looking! (I'm not even going to try to be humble today, I'll take it up again tomorrow...)

Here's the product of that great looking couple! Pricila, Douglas & Vanessa. I have to get sentimental here for a minute. I couldn't love these two any more than I do, I don't think it's humanly possible. I love them. What the three of us have is beyond just friendship. Beyond words. We can communicate just by looks. We know each other that well. What a blessing that we were all three put together on this earth.

So here's the Dutra family, all of us together in a beautiful shade of green! Enjoy, cause I sure did.
