Anna's latest

Anna the cutie is at it again! Here's a fun conversation between Anna and Russ.
Russ is sitting on the couch, not wanting to move. Anna is begging him to come upstairs with her for some reason I can't recall.
Anna, pulling Daddy's arm: Come ON Daddy! Let's go!
Russ, not moving: Oh Anna, where are we going?
Anna: I NEED you to come with me, Daddy, come ON!!!
Russ: But Daddy is so tired!
(This exchange kept going for a good 3-5 minutes)
Anna: COME ON DADDY!!! RIGHT NOW!
Russ: You know what Anna, Daddy has a problem, he's so fat and slow...
Anna: BE SLOW THEN! That's good! Just come on!
(We were very amused. Slow is better than not moving at all!)

Anna is learning her letters and getting better at Preschool. For a little while she was very frustrated about doing what the teacher told her to do, but then she realized that's what teachers do, and students listen, so things are getting better now. This is her zebra mask, she's very proud of it. Z is for Zebra!

Emma's latest

Emma has been a big eater lately. She'll eat a lot of mostly anything you offer, except carrots. It seems that's the only thing she will never go for. She also looks at you while you're eating and begs for your food! It's hilarious.

And if you look closely we have the arrival of.... her first teeth!!! Look at those beautiful pearly whites! Granted, she doesn't look so great here, but she sure enjoyed her turkey and sweet potatoes.
I love this picture. She's definitely going to be a thinker, this one. We were trying to read Good Night Moon, but she chose The Brothers Karamazov instead. A little light reading before bed, Emma? She's just delicious, isn't she?

A Sperry Boy!!!

John and Nicholette are going to have a baby boy!!! Here are some pictures of the newest little Sperry, but these are just previews, he'll be in theatres July 18th!




So here he is! We are so excited for John and Nicholette! Cousins galore for our girls!!! :)

A cousin for our girls!

This is Jeanne. Isn't she cute? She loves our kids and is great with them.
This is Jake. He's an amazing uncle. Our girls just love to cuddle with him.

We are so excited for them, they have been going through a very long process to get ready to adopt their baby, and their page was just posted recently. We are so excited!!! We are thrilled that they are expecting their first little one, and we can't wait to meet our new cousin. These two are going to be the best parents ever. I know because I've seen how they are with our girls. It's there. They are some of the people that we admire the most (and our list of people we admire is very selective).
